Happy New Year!

A Happy and Healthy 2015 to all!

That being said, it's kind of scary that we are already a third of the way into January.

I've been offline about a month now, due to, well, a combination of a lot of things. Health issues, personal issues, etc. In a nutshell, 2013 stank, and 2014 was determined to not be outdone. 2014 won.

A few announcements:

I haven't decided which book series to tackle this year. I was happy with how the Black Company reviews came along, and had narrowed this years choices to:

Dan Abnett's classic military sci-fi Gaunt's Ghosts books.

or Steven Erikson's collective Malazan doorstoppers.

I was leaning more towards Gaunt's Ghosts, but that entails a re-read of First and Only, plus, I am a bit wary of Ghostmaker (Book 2), since I heard it was just a collection of short stories. Then again, I have a bit more patience for those types of books now. We'll see.

I guess I'll aim for both series and resign myself to the fact that I probably won't finish either by the end of the year.

I want to thank everyone that visits, even during this downtime.

There are a few half-done reviews in the pipeline, I just don't have the drive or time to finish them right now.

Just ain't feeling it recently.

Oh, one more thing. I am looking for some truly scary titles to seek out and read for my October Haunted Halloween reviews. Leave any suggestions below. Appreciate it!

Again, all the best this year!

Cheers, Hach.
